You can do nothing, about anything, without information. Think about that for a moment....
Every living creature on earth contains vast amounts of information that allows life to exist in the first place, and respond to external forces of one kind or another. Putting this in a different way, life is very, very complex. Evolutionists have put forward theories for generations as to how "life" came to be a reality, and how massive chains of information, electronic impulses, and a million other devices all contribute to life as we know it today. Here are one or two questions for you if you blindly accept what evolution teaches.
Statement: The Universe came into existence through the forces unleashed in one "big bang".
Question: If nothing existed before this big bang took place, what exactly went BANG?
Statement: Life comprises a series of interacting information components, millions of them, in a consistent manner.
Response: Two eminent scientists (Professor Fred Hoyle and Professor Chandra Wickranasinghe) said that if you believe the information content in living systems to be a result of chance, then you believe that a tornado can go through a junk yard and assemble a Jumbo Jet!
Question: How can anyone looking at the tremendous complexities of life, and the order of our own very small solar system, believe that absolutely NO intellegent being had created the life and the environment for living creatures that are everywhere present around us?
Why, then, do men and women accept the theory of evolution? Could it possibly be that they do this to avoid the only alternative to this theory, that the Universe and all life was created by an omnipotent God? Why throw belief in God away? Perhaps because, then, there is no need whatsoever to obey such an authority, and therefore to do as one pleases. No laws, no rules, no restrictions.
Every country in this world has seen in comparatively recent years a vast, vast, increase in personal violence, drug addiction, robberies, selfishness, greed. These things are reflected from the extreme points of corrupt Government officials, to rude and aggressive driving, from murders for the pure "fun" of killing, to infant brutality of horrendous proportions. Not to mention sexual immorality and deviation. As belief in the Bible was diminishing, all these evil impulses and acts were increasing, until the point has almost been reached where there is little constraint on the actions of human beings, except where possessions and wealth are concerned.
"A man's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses" the Lord Jesus says in Luke chapter 12 verse 15. Think about that. If you seek more and more possessions, the time will come when you will be unable to use any of them.
The emotion we call "love" has not evolved!! It is a characteristic of the Lord God himself - God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. It is His love that provided Jesus Christ to show us the way into God's presence. The Bible is absolutely filled with the love of God - rejected in general by men and women who seek pleasures and possessions above belief in the Great Creator. Read the Bible, talk about what you read, find others who have placed a value on the things of God.
The apostle Paul encouraged first century believers in Christ in these words:
(Philippians 4:9) Those things, which you have both learned and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
So what do YOU want NOW? Life or death? A life spent "looking down" wanting to believe that you are here only by pure chance, so that you may behave as you wish? Or, believing that God really did send his only begotten son, Jesus, to die that we might have life, choose a life of service to God the Creator, and to his magnificent, created world? Maybe you do not understand the full implications of this second choice, and maybe you need guidance as to how you can get your life on track in God's sight.
Please think very carefully. Are you really satisfied with what life offers you in 2010 and beyond? Or would you really like to know the Creator and love Him?
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever" (Psalm 111:10)
